Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Development and Acceptability of Powerpoint Presentation in Teaching Nail Care aimed to determine the acceptability of the powerpoint presentation in terms of objectives, content, usability, graphical presentation and styled used. It was conducted during school year 2015-2016 at University of Rizal System Morong, Rizal. The study used the descriptive developmental research method to determine the acceptability of the powerpoint presentation in teaching nail care. Ten (100 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers in Nail Care and twenty (20) students of the Laboratory High School in University of Rizal System Morong were the respondents of the study who were chosen through random sampling. The findings revealed that the powerpoint presentation in teaching nail care is very much accepted by the two groups of respondents. Further, there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of powerpoint presentation in teaching Nail Care as evaluated by the respondents with respect to the different aspects. It was concluded that the developed powerpoint presentation can be used in teaching nail care for grade 9 students and it was recommended to utilize the powperpoint presentation in teaching mail care, conduct parallel studies utilizing the other variables, and test the effectiveness of the said instructional material.
