Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: Executive Summary: The study aimed to aid the students of Electrical Engineering in learning the actual applications of different engineering subjects especially in Electrical Machinery. This study will lead to a better understanding in basic controlling of an Electric motor which is primarily in demand in all industrial company. The study intended to develop and construct an AC Induction Motor Control Trainer Board. Additionally, a module of the trainer was included in the trainer to test the user upon using and practicing the trainer board. The objectives also to determine the level of acceptability of the device in terms of functionality, general appearance and safety. In order to come up to the best result of the study based on the objectives of the study of the trainer board, the researchers gathered all the information on the internet and for the better result of the design, they consulted an expert about the project and their advice and to test the level of acceptability of the trainer board in terms of functionality, general appearance and safety, a questionnaire checklist was evaluated by the students and professors. As the researchers came up to output project, several tests and gathering data from the evaluation of the respondents were observed. After all the analysis and interpretation of the gathered data from the evaluation of the respondents, the results were established. The design and construction of AC Induction Motor Control Trainer Board was successful. The trainer board can control the training activity in the module. The module consists of five activities which are: Start Stop Control, Start Stop and Jog Control, Forward Reverse and Wye Delta. The device was also very much accepted as perceived by the respondents. For the evaluation of the acceptability in terms of functionality, it was concluded that the device was very much accepted as evaluated by the engineers and students with an average mean of 4.60. For the acceptability of the device in terms of general appearance, it was highly accepted as evaluated by the engineers and students with an average mean of 4.72. And lastly in terms of safety, it was revealed that the device was highly accepted as evaluated by the engineers and students with an average mean of 4.78. Based on the findings and conclusions, the following recommendations were drawn. The activity on the module must increase to further enhance the knowledge of students on the device. For the safety provide limit switch. Further provide more control parts in the trainer board and other components that not all been included for having more application. And lastly always update the knowledge about device to easily go in the flow to upgraded device on the market.
