EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The main objective of the study was design proposed Teresa Memorial Park Garden in Dalig, Teresa, Rizal. Specifically, the study aimed to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the project on terms of locations, social condition and utilities. Likewise, this study aimed to design a municipal memorial park garden and draw set of plans of the memorial park garden amenities including the butterfly garden, chapel and administration building cinerarium/ossuary, above ground interments, public toilet and guardhouse. The study also conducted the environmental impact assessment and constructed the design and layout of the memorial park garden using sketch-up and v-ray. Based on the summary of findings, the study concluded that the proposed Teresa memorial park garden attained the objectives of the study. The study determined the strengths and weaknesses of the project in terms of location, social conditions and utilities. The location and utilities were found out to be advantageous because the site has all the basic utilities needed in the construction of the project. The study attempted to design a municipal memorial park garden. The design was highly adaptive to the location of the project. The study also attempted to draw set of plans of the memorial park amenities, such as the butterfly garden, chapel, administration building, cinerarium/ossuary, above ground internet, public toilet and guard house. The researchers prepared for the following set of plans; floor plan, elevations, foundation plans, section, roof plan. Lighting and power lay out, plumbing, lay-out and schedule of doors and windows. The researchers assessed the potential impacts of the project to the existing environment of the location. This study might affect the land, air, species and the human environment. Through appreciate mitigation measures to be applied and proper planning measures to be considered, potential negative impacts on air, water, land, ecology and humans, can be reduced or avoided and can introduce positive aspects to the development. The estimated bill of materials of the project, including the building establishment and other structures cost Php 54,701,036.30. In constructing the design and lay-out of the proposed Teresa memorial park garden, the researchers used sketch-up for designing and v-ray for rendering. Based on the findings and conclusions made, the researchers recommended that the house should be at the middle of the memorial park. In addition, the design and lay-out of the memorial park garden should be based on the latest planning process. Vaults should be provided for the underground interments. Gates should also be provided for the security of the memorial park proper facility handling and proper maintenance of the project. Lastly, further studies should be conducted for the improvement of the proposed project.
