Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electronics Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to develop Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine. Specially, this study attempted to design and Construct the Printed Board Etching Machine. The researchers perform try out and revisions to know what to change of the device. Moreover, the study aimed to determine the level of acceptability of the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine in terms of functionality, usefulness, user-friendliness and safety and maintenance. As the result, the researchers determine the significant difference between the developed Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine and the traditional Etching Method. The study also aimed to determine the level of performance and the capability of the Printed Circuit board etching machine in terms of etching speed and etching quality. This study aimed to determine the level of acceptability of Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine in terms of functionality, usefulness, user-friendliness and safety and maintenance by the used of researcher's made questionnaire. The respondents test the level of acceptability of this project. The results were tailed and computed for analysis. In terms of functionality, the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine got a weighted mean of 4.87 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As evaluated by the respondents the Traditional Etching Method Attained an average weighted mean 4.79 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. Moreover, in terms usefulness, the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine got a weighted mean of 4.82 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As evaluated by the Respondents the Traditional Etching Method attained an average weighted mean 4.64 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. Furthermore, in terms user-friendliness, the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine got a weighted mean of 4.87 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As evaluated by the respondents the Traditional Etching Method attained an average mean of 4.79 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. In terms safety and maintenance, the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine got a weighted mean of 4.74 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As evaluated by the respondents the Traditional Etching Method attained an average weighted mean of 4.55 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As to the significant difference on the evaluations made by the respondents on the acceptability of the Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine, it was found out that the research project was very much accepted. In terms of aforementioned variables, the findings revealed that there is no significant difference between the evaluation of the developed printed circuit board etching machine and the traditional etching method. Furthermore, the study aimed to determine the level of performance and the capability of the developed Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine in terms of etching machine in terms of etching speed and etching quality. In terms of etching speed, as the trials finished for the developed Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine attained an overall mean of 4.3 and verbally interpreted as extremely fast. And the Traditional Etching Method got an overall mean of 4 as the trials finished and verbally interpreted as very fast. Moreover, in terms of etching quality, as the trials finished for the developed Printed Circuit Board Etching Machine attained an overall mean of 5 and verbally interpreted as excellent quality. And the Traditional Etching Method got an overall mean of 4 as the trials finished and verbally interpreted as best quality.
