Dissertation note: Thesis BSF University of Rizal System. Cardona 2016 Summary: This study aimed to determine the Effects of different levels of Musa sapientum (banana peeling) as ingredient in fish meal on the growth performance of Orchromis sp. (tilapia fingerlings). It is also intended to measure if there exist significant differences on the growth performance of tilapia fed with a fish meal having concentration of treatment 1 with 10 % BP, treatment 2 having 15% BP and treatment 3 of 0%BP. The measurable variables are weight, length, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). A total of 180 species were divided in nine fish tank and this was again divided into three groups prior to treatment replication. Three condiments with 20 pieces each tanks tilapia fingerlings is for treatment 1, another three tanks for treatment 2 and the remaining three tanks is for treatment 3. All treatments was set in Completely Randomized Design to eliminate biases during the conduct of research. Following 10% of the total biomass daily feed ratio, the fish were fed two times a day at 9:00 in the morning and at 3:00 in the afternoon. Sampling was done every 15th day to record progress of growth in the 60-days culture period. Based upon the result using analysis of variance, it out that there is no significant difference on the growth performance of fingerlings in terms of weight, length and feed conversion ratio of the data gathered.
