The purpose of this study was to determine the probability percentage and occurrence of down syndrome among families of selected individuals who have down syndrome, and to determine the possibilities of having down syndrome from 1st to 4th generation in their family. The researchers interviewed the parents of 5 special children in different barangays in Morong. The researchers analysed the case of each of the five families and predicted the probability percentage, and the probability of occurrence of the down syndrome in their families. The study found out that down syndrome is not frequently to pass in the operation due its recessiveness and its small amount of percentage of probability. From the analysis of findings, the researchers found out that the mathematics may introduce processes in other fields of study. Probability can be used on prediction by getting the occurrence of the event. It is therefore concluded that down syndrome is a recessive case and has small percentage of occurrence among families. With this, the researchers recommend future researchers to conduct further related study for the enhancement of the findings ER -
