The design and construction of the energy conservation alarm system for refrigerator can be developed and constructed by utilizing locally available materials. Bill of materials and working drawing were prepared, preparing tools and materials were used as basis and guide for constructing the project. Likewise, tools and equipment were also set up in building the said project. The tryout and revisions of the energy conservation alarm system for refrigerator was tested for operation. Defects were found like alarm malfunctions and sensing response were found out to be defective connection and some electrical malfunction. Immediately the researchers fixed the defects and made the device in normal operation. On the level of acceptability of the energy conservation alarm system for refrigerator, was in terms of safety and maintenance, design, functionality and usefulness, the alarm system found out to be extremely acceptable as evaluated by the respondents. On the level of performance, overall score in terms of sensor sensitivity is extremely sensitive while in terms of voltage consumed per hour is very effective ER -
