N2  - PROJECT SUMMARY   The project conducted by the OIP student was Feedlot Cattle Fattening.  The implemented project started last July 21, 2018 with the acquisition of  supplies and materials for use in the construction of cattle shed. Other activities  indicated in the program of work were also performed by the proponent. The  project composed three (3) heads cattle with tropical breed. The stocks were  chosen based on the health condition prior to purchasing. The initial weight was  one hundred thirty to one hundred fifty kilos at eighteen months of age. They  were acquired from a friend, who also engaged in cattle raising, in the place  where the proponent resides.   After four months of raising through confined method, the stocks were  disposed gaining total weight of six hundred seventy five kilos (675) with  liveweight price of two hundred fifteen pesos (P215.00). The stocks had a gross  sales of one hundred forty five thousand one hundred twenty five pesos (P145,  125.00), with gross expenses of eighty six thousand five hundred seventy three  pesos and sixty five centavos (P86, 573.65).   The project realized a net income of fifty eight thousand five hundred fifty  one and thirty five centavos (P58, 551.35) having a return on investment of sixty  seven and sixty three percent (67.63%). After its project operation, the student  entrepreneur experienced some problems like shortage of budget allocation.  Minor problems were overcome with the help of the immediate members of the  family and through the assistance extended to the student. Cattle fattening  indeed is a good means of livelihood but it needs a bigger capital to sustain its  operation.
