TI - Development of e-mathicons AV - QA 14 .D492 2015 PY - 2015/// KW - Mathematics -- Study and teaching N2 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted to determine the acceptability of the developed E-Mathicons. It was undertaken at the University of Rizal System-Morong Campus during the Academic Year 2015-2016 first semester. The respondents of the study were twenty-six (26) elementary teachers and fifty (50) pupils of Pantay Elementary School using total enumeration as sampling technique. The Study used the descriptive development method of research, utilizing the modified questionnaire checklist from the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) as the main instrument in gathering necessary data and information to attain the desired evaluation of the level of Acceptability of developed E-mathicons. To entirely develop the program, Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft office Access were used. To determine the level of acceptability of the developed program in terms of accuracy, applicability, completeness, user-friendliness, workability,portability, clarity and modifiability, weighted mean was used in the evaluation of the program. Independent T-test was used to determine the significant difference on the level of acceptability of the developed system between the perceptions of the two groups of respondents. It was found out that the developed E-mathicons was very accepted by the teachers as evidenced in the computed weighted mean of 4.45 and very much accepted to the pupils with a weighted mean of 4.46. It was found out that there is no significant difference that existed on the perception of the two groups of respondents in terms of accuracy, applicability, completeness, user-friendliness, workability, portability, clarity and modifiability. It was recommended that the developed program be an alternative way of learning and used as a motivational tool on enhancing the learning process of the pupils ER -
