TI - Impact of leadership on the personality development of high school students in selected national high schools in Rizal AV - BF 698 .Im8 2014 PY - 2014/// KW - Personality N2 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study entitled IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP ON THE PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT IN SELECTED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN RIZAL was conducted during the school year 2013-2014. It aimed to determine the perception of high school students to their leadership performance in their school organization. The respondents were the selected high school students in Baras National High School, Cardona National High School and Teresa National High School who were selected through the use of Slovin's formula. The respondents profile such as age, sex, monthly family income, year level, religion, parental status and organization were considered variables in the study as well as the different aspects such as personal, social, emotional, moral/spiritual, and intellectual aspect. The researchers used the survey method of research utilizing a researchers made questionnaire checklist as the main instrument for gathering data. Frequency, percentage and rank distribution, weighted mean and one analysis of variance or ANOVA the statistical tools used in line with the study. The collected data where treated, interpreted and summarized. Presentation of comprehensive findings of the study were also done. Based on the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that majority of the respondents were female who belonged to 15-17 years of age, with monthly income of 5,000 to 9,000, 4th high school students and Catholic. Age was found significant. Sex, monthly income, year level, religion, parental status and organization were not determining factors to the personality of high school students in selected national high schools in Rizal, thus, found not significant. On the basis of findings and conclusions, the researchers recommended that all students need to participate in all activities that help school organizations so that they can develop their self esteem, confident and enhance their ability on how to handle the group harmoniously. Participation of teacher and parents are important to build the good and strong foundation of individual. Parallel studies should be conducted considering other variables. ER -
