This study was conducted at Tayuman Elementary School SPED Center this second semester school year 2013-2014. The strength and weaknesses in the present level of performance in different functional areas such as Motor skills, Self-help skills, Cognitive skills, Social skills, Communication skills, Physical skills, emotional skills and Language skills were determined using checklist, observation and interview. The subject of the study was a child with Dawn Syndrome in Tayuman SPED Center who was recommended by his Special Education Teacher. The findings of the study revealed that the child with Down Syndrome has difficulty in Fine Motor skills, Cognitive skills, Social Skills, Communication Skills, Emotional skills, Language skills as compared to her Motor Skills, Physical skills and Self-help skills. It was concluded that the child has Down Syndrome has not fully developed her Fine Skills, Cognitive Skills, Social Skills, Communication Skills, Emotional Skills and Language Skills. It was recommended that the child with Down Syndrome should be referred to a Physical/Occupational Therapist to ease her difficulty in her Fine Motor Skills; exposed to different events to improve her socialization and referred to speech therapist to improve her expressive language ER -
