TI - Difference of the mobile communication technology to family relationship and academic performance of grade 8 students in University of Rizal System laboratory high school AV - LB 2351 .D568 2014 PY - 2014/// KW - Academic performance N2 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted to determine the difference of mobile communication technology to the academic performance and family relationship of the grade eight students in University of Rizal System Laboratory High School during the school year 2014-2015. This study covered the Grade VIII pupils in URS Laboratory. The variable that was used is the mobile communication technology which determined its difference to the academic performance and family relationship of the respondents. The researchers made some available materials and gathered data through readings and research for the better understanding of the study. The study used the descriptive method method of research utilizing researcher-made questionnaire checklist as the instrument in gathering data to determine the difference of mobile communication technology to the academic to the academic performance and family relationship as perceived by the respondents. In general, based from the summary of findings and conclusions, the respondents posses a proficient academic performance. Majority of them use cell phone for leisure purposes. Mobile communication technology has no significant difference on the academic performance and family relationship of the respondents. The following recommendations were formulated. The parents should guide their children on how to use cell phone applications properly that it won't affect their academic performance and to maintain a close relationship with family members.
