N2  - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: 	This study aimed to determine the motivation and engagement of College of Science students in extension service activities during the school year 2016-2017. The subjects were the college of Science students in University of Rizal System-Morong Campus. 	The respondents of the study were described according to sex, age, year level and course. The respondents were chosen through convenience sampling technique. In order to determine the level of motivation and engagement researchers use questionnaire checklist as a major tool for gathering the needed data. 	The respondents were selected through random method with a total breakdown of 31 respondents from the BS-Guidance and Counseling, 30 respondents from BS-Psychology, 30 respondents from BS Biology and 29 respondents from BS-Mathematics for a total of 120 respondents. 	This study was limited to the College of Science students in University of Rizal System-Morong Campus. 	The data gathered in the study was treated with the use of the following statistical treatment. To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, age, year level and course of the respondents frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used. To know the level of motivation and engagement of the respondents, mean was utilized. To know if there is a significant difference on the level of motivation as perceived by the respondents with respect to different aspects in terms of their profile, One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied. 	In general, it was therefore found out that College of Science Students who are motivated and engage in extension activities are mostly female, third year college and enrolled in BS Guidance and Counseling; students are intrinsically motivated. Most of them have four to six times participation in extension activities. 	The profile of the respondents were not contributory to their motivation and engagement to extension activities. 	Recommendations were also offered in the study that interpretation on the value of extension service activities may be intensified by the teachers and professors to motivate students to engage in such activities and conduct other activities related to extension services and conduct parallel studies using other variables
