Specifically, this study attempted to determine the level of acceptability of Auto-Controlled Gas Stove in terms of design, usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance. The researchers utilized an adapted-modified validated questionnaire-checklist, instrument which to determine the level of acceptability of the Auto-Controlled Gas Stove. It was accomplished by the ten respondents who provided information for the completion of the study. The results were tallied and computed for analysis, there were two groups of respondents who evaluated tested the acceptability of project, the first group consisted of five (5) experts who had knowledge, skills and full understanding on the construction of the Auto-Controlled Sensor Base Gas Stove while other group consisted of five (5) end users who taking up Diploma in Technology and Bachelor of Technology Major in Electronics Technology at the same University. Qualitative description was used in developing the Auto-controlled gas stove. For the level of performance and the level of acceptability of the Auto-controlled gas stove, mean was used. Based on the analysis and interpretation of data, the following were summarized: in terms of design and construction, Auto-Controlled Gas Stove was designed and assembled out of locally available materials. On the level of performance of the Auto-Controlled Gas Stove with respect to time interval for cooking rice and boiling water it was found out that the Auto-Controlled Gas Stove is extremely accurate. On the level of acceptability in terms of performance, the experts perceived the device as very much accepted with weighted mean of 4.4 and of the student perceived the device also as very acceptable with the weighted mean of 4.2. In terms of functionality and usefulness of the device as evaluated by the experts, it achieved a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having computed weighted mean of 4.8 on the other hand, the end-users also evaluated the functionality and usefulness of the device as extremely accepted having a computed weighted mean of 4.7. In terms of design of the device as evaluated by the experts, it achieved a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having computed weighted mean of 4.5 on the other hand, the end users also evaluated the design of the device as extremely accepted having a computed weighted mean of 4.6. In terms of user friendliness of the device as evaluated by the experts, it achieved a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having computed weighted mean of 4.5 on the hand, the end users also evaluated the user friendliness of the device as extremely accepted having a computed weighted mean of 4.6. In terms of safety and maintenance of the device as evaluated by the experts, it achieved a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having computed weighted mean of 4.7 on the other hand, the end users also evaluated the safety and maintenance of the device as extremely accepted having a computed weighted mean of 4.7. It was concluded that the Auto-Controlled Gas Stove was designed and constructed out of locally available materials; the Auto-Controlled Gas Stove was extremely accepted as evaluated by the experts and end-users in terms of functionality and usefulness, design, user friendliness and safety and maintenance. Based on the findings and conclusions, the recommendations were hereby offered: financial assistance should be granted to the researchers in pursuing the research studies.
