Development and acceptability of impong ompong activity book - 2015 - x, 38 leaves : colour illustrations ; 28 cm



EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This thesis entitled Development and Acceptability of Impong Ompong Activity Book was conducted during the school year 2014-2015 at the University of Rizal System Morong, Rizal. The study used the descriptive developmental method using the purposive sampling technique in determining the validity and acceptability of the Impong Ompong Activity Book. Ten (10) professors and teachers validated the instructional and learner support material in medicinal plants with the use of rubic prepared by the researchers who were chosen through purposive sampling. The material contains pictures of plants with corresponding its description, distribution, taxonomic classification, conservation status, medical uses and mode preparation. Activities that can enhance the learning of the students and a list of medicinal preparation with corresponding pictures and procedures that ca help in educating high school students and community, the respondents agreed that the developed and validated instructional material was very much accepted. This study disclosed that the developed and validated instructional material is very much accepted with respect to different criteria and can be used as instructional material for K to 12 science curriculum.
