The researchers used descriptive research method to describe the perception of the employers in hiring differently abled personnel Calendar Year 2015. The data were gathered through questionnaire - checklist from twelve (12) owners and/or human resource officers as the respondents. It was tallied, analyzed and interpreted using the frequency, percentage and rank distribution, weighted arithmetic mean and one way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Based on the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered, the researchers summarized the following findings, majority of the business owners and human resource officers who respond to the study were female, married and college level. The factors that mostly affects the perception of the respondents were the physical appearance, disability case, social aspect, emotional domain, intellectual / mental capacity and skills. It could be concluded that in terms of sex, civil status and educational attainment has no significance on the respondents' perception; therefore, the study fail to reject the null hypothesis. Based on the conclusion formulated, the researchers recommend the following: The researchers suggest to the business owners and hiring officers to consider the differently abled persons because there is no significant difference when it comes to their job performance. Part of it is to follow up for this study regarding the benefits of the differently abled personnel with the help of different sets of respondents. ER -
