This was conducted at university of rizal system morong campus during the school year 2017-2018. The developed instructional material featured the process of how detachable steam turbine generator model shows the simulation of conversion of energy and how from that mechanism able to generate an electricity. This can motivate, engage and help the students to easily understand the topics such as energy and electricity. Ten science teachers and ten engineers in the said school were considered as respondents for the acceptability of the developed instructional materials utilizing and adapted questionnaire-checklist as a tool in gathering the needed data. Also in determining the level of acceptability of the developed steam turbine generator model, mean was used. The study concluded that the detachable steam turbine generator model as an instructional material is very much acceptable in teaching physics for grade 9 in terms of design, usability, safety and maintenance and modifiability as evaluated by the respondents. Besides, it also proves that the developed instructional material is capable to generate an electricity and can show actual process of conversion of energy from thermal energy into mechanical energy and then electrical energy with its whole mechanism. Meanwhile, the study recommended that the developed instructional material must have a drainage system below the propeller to avoid drenches along the base of the model. The source of heat should have continuous flow of thermal energy to increase the stability of pressure production. The steam should be contained so that the rpm (rotation per minute) of the propeller would result in increasing brightness of the led (light emitting diode). Similar studies may be conducted considering the level of effectiveness of the developed detachable steam turbine model in physics for grade 9 ER -
