N2  - This study aimed to determine the bamboo species found in the University of Rizal System, Main Campus, Tanay, Rizal. The data gathered for the study was taken thru actual inventory using convenience sampling method of the bamboo species University of Rizal System, Main Campus, Tanay, Rizal. The study revealed that there are eight (8) identified bamboos species found in URS Tanay, Rizal. The bamboo species are Kauayan Tinik/Spiny bamboo (Bambusa blumeana), Buho (Schizotachyum lumampao), Bikal (Dinochloa diffusa), Kauayan Dilaw (Bambusa vulgaris var. striata), Bayog (Bambusa sp.), Wamin Bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris cv. wamin), Giant Bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper) and Kauayan Kiling (Bambusa vulgaris)
