N2  - The study determined the effects of shallow tube well utilization on the agricultural productivity in the eastern towns of Rial. The descriptive survey method of research was used in the study using questionnaire checklist as the main instrument in data gathering. Moreover, the researcher gathered pertinent data by conducting interviews. The subjects of the study were the 77 resident-farmers of the four (4) towns in eastern Rizal who are the beneficiaries of the shallow tube well distributed by the Department of Agriculture. Farmer-recipients have been interviewed and been found living near their respective farmlands
