AU - Bandino,Edson SJ TI - The Level of satisfaction of hotel and restaurant management students in University of Rizal System after their supervised industrial training AV - TH 5549 .L575 2016 PY - 2016/// KW - Curriculum planning -- Human resource management N2 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the Level of Satisfaction of Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of Rizal System Students after their Supervised Industrial Training. It was conducted at the University of Rizal System during SY 2015-2016. It used descriptive type of research utilizing survey questionnaire checklist and interview. They were the twenty nine (29) fourth year, twenty (20) from third year and twenty (20) from second year students BT-HRM who attended their supervised industrial training in the different establishment of hospitality industry. The respondents were selected through purposive random sampling technique. The conditions ascertained in this study was The Level of Satisfaction of Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of Rizal System Students after their Supervised Industrial Training in terms of accommodation, kitchen area, dining area, front office/ front desk, relationship with co-trainees/guest and relationship with staff/supervisor. The profile of the respondents shows that in terms of age, fifty nine and four (59.4) percent was at the age bracket of 19-21 years old and below. In terms of sex, the female respondents are more than male respondents with forty one (41) females and twenty eight (28) males. In terms of year level, the numbers of respondents were almost fourth year students with twenty nine (29) respondents. And the Level of Satisfaction of Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of Rizal System Students after their Supervised Industrial Training by the respondents shows that with respect to accommodation. Kitchen area, dining area and front office/desk, relationship with co-trainees/guest and relationship with staff/supervisor are "Much satisfied". There is no significant difference in the Level of Satisfaction of Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of Rizal System Students after their Supervised Industrial Training, with respect to the above mentioned variables, it shows that in terms of age, gender, year level and seminars attended the null hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, there's no significant difference in the Level of Satisfaction of Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of Rizal System Students after their Supervised Industrial Training. Based on the summary findings, were it could be concluded that satisfaction do exist and were experienced by the trainees. And based from the summary of findings and conclusions drawn, the following recommendations were offered; the establishment should focus on the students with ages from 16, 18, 22 & above. Terms of sex, male men must be given more training to have satisfaction. In terms of year level, second year and third year must also be drived to be trained. They should also join other training programs to make them more familiar in the different aspects of the Hotel and Restaurant Management.
