EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the acceptability of the developed interactive learning material in Horticulture. It was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong, Rizal during the SY 2016-2017 with the TLE students and TLE teachers as respondents. The study used descriptive method of research to describe and evaluate the acceptability of the developed interactive learning material in Horticulture. Qualitative discussion was used to describe the development of the material; Mean was used to determine its acceptability; and independent t-test was applied to determine the significant difference on the level of acceptability of the developed material. The development of interactive learning material in Horticulture was based on the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum Guide in Technology and Livelihood Education. It covered different lessons in Horticulture such as applying safety precautions in farm operation, use farm tools and equipment, perform estimation and basic calculation and interpret plans and drawings. Hyperlinks, triggers photos, videos, and sound recordings are added as one of its main features to make it more interactive. The developed interactive learning material in Horticulture is very much acceptable by the two groups of respondents and there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of the developed material as evaluated by the respondents in terms of objectives, content, language and style, layout and graphics, organization and presentation and workability. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the developed interactive learning material in Horticulture is an acceptable tool in teaching and can be used as a supporting device in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, it is highly recommended to utilize and test the effectiveness of the developed interactive learning material in Horticulture and conduct a parallel study considering other variables.
