Development of magnetic generator James Magno B. Tuliao - 2016 - 59 leaves : colour illustrations ; 28 cm.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop a Magnetic Generator using locally available materials. It was develop to support the increasing demand for electricity yet supporting the government's campaign on maintaining our environment. It was conducted in University of Rizal System Morong, during S.Y. 2016-2017. There are fifty (50) respondents, forty (40) Bachelor of Technology students as end users and ten (10) Professors in Electrical Technology as experts. They were chosen using purposive sampling. They evaluate4ds the study in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness and functionality. The study tested the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the acceptability of the developed Magnetic Generator as perceived by the respondents in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness and functionality. The data gathered in the study were statistically treated using qualitative description, weighted mean and t-test. The Magnetic generator was tested for operation where troubles were observed and revised. Through try-out and revisions made, the project reached the functional output and attained the project objective. On the acceptability of the improvised power saver: in terms of safety and maintenance, as evaluated by the end users and experts, achieved a computed weighted mean of 4.53 and 4.56 respectively, both with verbal interpretation of Very much acceptable. In terms of usefulness, as evaluated by the experts, it also achieved a verbal interpretation of very much acceptable having a computed weighted mean of 4.58. Likewise, the users evaluated the developed devices as very much acceptable having a computed weighted of 4.45. In terms of functionalities, as evaluated by the experts, it also achieved a verbal interpretation of very much acceptable, with a computed weighted mean of 4.61. On the other hand as perceived by the experts and the end users, got a computed weighted mean of 4.6 and is verbally interpreted as very much acceptable. The null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the evaluation made by the experts and the users on the acceptability of the Magnetic Generator in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness and functionality is accepted. There not significant. It was concluded that the magnetic generator was very much accepted can be designed and constructed out of locally available materials; the magnetic generator was very much accepted as evaluated by the experts and the end users in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness, and functionalities. The null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the evaluation made by the two groups of respondents is accepted. Based on the findings and conclusions, the recommendations were hereby offered: additional battery may be connected in order to prolong its usage: A voltmeter and ammeter must be installed to monitor the voltage output and current produced by the device; Other researchers should conduct should conduct further study to enhance the capacity of the developed device, increasing its output voltage and current.
