TI - Vocabulary skills of selected grade 7 students in Baras national AV - LB1631 .T288 2014 PY - 2014/// KW - English language--Grammar KW - English language--Study and teaching N2 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the vocabulary skills of selected grade 7 students in terms of context clues, word formation, word association and structural analysis which served as the basis for the development of the enhancement program entitled 'Word Builders Camp 2015'. This study used descriptive developmental method of research utilizing a researcher-made test as the main instrument to gather the needed data. To determine the level of performance of the respondents in vocabulary skills in terms of context clues, word formation, word association and structural analysis, mean and standard deviation were used. The study showed that majority of the respondents were proficient in context clues and word formation and the rest of respondents were performing approaching proficiency in word association and structural analysis. It was recommended that the school provide other activities that are approved by the department of education or utilize the proposed enhancement program ER -
