Cardona: University of Rizal System N2 - The study aims to determine the "Effects of different levels of chicken manure as ingredient on the growth performance of tilapia (Oreochromis sp.). Three treatments, replicated three times were utilized. Treatment I-fishmeal feeds, Treatment II 12.5% of Chicken manure, and Treatment III 25.0% of chicken manure. Feeding was done twice a day, every 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The experiment was conducted in 60-days culture period and interval of sampling of length and weight were done every 10 days. Arithmetic mean and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used as the statistical treatment in determining the significant difference. In terms of length, Treatment III obtained the highest length increment with a value of 18.53 cm followed by Treatment I with a value of 15.46 cm and the treatment II obtained the lowest increment with a value of 14.46 cm. statistical Analysis shows significant difference among the Treatments. In terms of weight, treatment III obtained the highest weight increment with a value of 3.27 g followed by treatment II with a value of 2.93 g and the treatment I obtained the lowest weight increment with a value of 2.62 g. Statistical analysis shows significant difference among the treatments. The highest survival rate was recorded in treatment I with 80% followed by treatment II and III that obtained survival rate of 77% each treatments. Statistical analysis shows no significant difference among the treatments. In terms of feed conversion ratio, treatment III attained the value of FCR of 3.7 followed by treatment II with 4.1 and treatment I with the value of 4.6. this means that chicken manure can also be substitute for fish meal as a component of source of fish protein ER -
