Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study aimed to determine the Profit Optimization of Textile Business in Taytay, Rizal. This was conducted during Calendar Year 2015. The researchers used descriptive method to describe the profit optimization of 15 registered textile business in Taytay, Rizal. The questionnaire checklist was utilized in collecting data from the owners and financial managers of business and such data were tested with different statistical treatment, such as Frequency, Percentage, Rank Distribution and One-Way ANOVA. Based on the data collected with respect to the profile, most of the owner belonged to the age bracket of mid adult with the frequency of 8 or 53.3 percent while the majority of the employees are in the age bracket of young adult with the frequency of 53.3. In terms of gender, 13 or 86.7 percent were male owners, while most of the employees are male with 33 or 73.3 percent. In terms of civil status, most of the owners are married with frequency of 13 or 86.7 percent, while the employees are single with a frequency of 26 or 57.8 percent. With regards to highest educational attainment majority of the owners are college graduate with a frequency of 8 or 53.3 percent, while employees are mostly high School graduate with a frequency of 38 or 84.4 percent. In terms of length of service most of the owners are in business for 2 Years with the frequency of 6 or 40.0 percent, while the employees are mostly 1 Year below with the frequency of 29 or 64.4 percent Based on the business profile, in terms of form of ownership, it indicate that majority of the respondent have a single proprietorship of type of business which rank first with the frequency of 16 or 53.3 percent. In terms of initial capital rank first with the frequency of 21 or 70.0 percent. With respect to the sources of capital, owner's capital rank first with a frequency of 28 or 93.3 percent. Profile in terms of Years of existence, rank first with the frequency of 15 or 50.0 percent. In terms of monthly income rank fist with frequency of 26 or 86.7 percent. In terms of number of staff rank first with the frequency of 11 or 36.7 percent. In terms of sales item number 1 which is "Sustains competitive advantage", with the weighted mean of 4.87 and a verbal interpretation as "always". In terms of cost, first in rank is item 1 which is "Allocates the budget efficiently to a suitable operation" respondent's acquired a weighted mean of 4.53 with a verbal interpretation as "always". In terms of expense, first in rank is item 4 , which is "Provides bonuses, sick or vacation leave" respondent's acquired a weighted mean of 4.32 with a verbal interpretation as "always". The same with item 1, which is "Allow employees to ask for cash advances " with the weighted mean of 4.32 32 with a verbal interpretation as "always". Based on the tested hypothesis, there is significant relationship on profit optimization in terms Age, Highest Educational Attainment and Firm of Ownership. Hence, there are no significant relationship in profit optimization of textile business in Taytay, Rizal in terms of Sex, Civil Status, Length of Service, Initial Capital, Present Capital, Sources of Capital, Years of existence, Monthly Income and Number of Employees. With respect to the profile, most of the owner belongs to the age bracket of 36 to 45 Years old with the frequency of 8 or 53.3 percent while the majority of the employees are in the age bracket of 26 to 35 Years old with the frequency of 53.3. In terms of gender, 13 or 86.7 percent were male owners, while most of the employees are male with 33 or 73.3 percent. In terms of civil status, most of the owners are married with frequency of 13 or 86.7 percent, while the employees are single with a frequency of 26 or 57.8 percent. Based on summary of findings the following recommendation have been suggested that textile business should identify critical price points and should borrow funds for business operation. Textile business must diversify the cost of production to increase the sales. They should forecasts cash disbursements from operating expense. The textile should identify the sales volume that affect the salary of the employees.
