The purpose of the study was to measure the performance of the students in solving word problems with employed localization. The study had 60 grade 10 students of San Isidro National High School in the school year 2017-2018 to be the respondents of the study The researchers used descriptive evaluative design of research to know if there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test when they were taught in employing localization in constructing authentic problems. The Researchers gave the research-made test to the respondents and after gathering the data, statistical treatment was followed.
The mean sources of both experimental group and control group during the free pre-test and post-test was increased from 4.38 to 8.20 and 5.77 to 10.67, respectively.
there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test mean scores of control group and experimental group.
