San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal. The chosen site was ideal for raising quail because of its humid condition due to the presence of many trees. The project site was accessible and its proximity to the market where supplies and materials were purchased and the produce quail eggs were being sold
The proponents constructed the cage with a dimension of one (1) foot high x four (4) feet wide x eight (๐ feet in length and the flooring was elevated three (3) feet high from the ground. The flooring was slightly sloping for the reason of egg laying of quails and at the end of the cage proponents constructed an egg catcher that was made of galvanized sheet. Coco lumber was used for the housing structure and support while the plastic wire served as the flooring and walling material for the cage. The cage was built for two (2) days by the help of proponent's relative
Disinfection was done in the cage two weeks before stocking. The proponents prepared the disinfectant by mixing one bottle ninety millimeter (90ml).
