EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the relationship of NARCISSISTIC TENDENCY AND SELF-ESTEEM OF STUDENT LEADERS. The study was conducted during the school year 2018-2019. The researchers conducted the study in University of Rizal System Morong Campus. This study included 122 respondents in different organization from the different colleges. Descriptive quantitative research was applied in analyzing the data to be collected. The researchers utilized a questionnaire-checklist to know the level of narcissistic tendency and self-esteem of student leaders. The instruments used was a standardized adapted questionnaire - checklists entitled Narcissistic Personality Inventory by Raskins and State Self-esteem Scale by Ikegami and Baumeister. The study was anchored on the theory of Self Psychology by Heinz Kohut. Self-psychology is the theoretical school of Heinz Kohut that provides the theoretical basis for most of the therapeutic benefits of contemporary psychoanalysis. For the analysis and interpretation of data, the following statistical tools were considered. To determine the narcissistic tendency and self-esteem of student leader, mean was used. To determine the significant relationship of narcissistic tendency and self-esteem, Pearson-r was used. Based on the findings, the study recommend that the colleges may conduct seminars or lecture-forum that will promote or improve an awareness to their characteristics of their personality or behavior as a student leaders. The Office of the Student Development Services may also conduct a leadership training program for those aspiring students.
