EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study entitled "Automated Portable Touch Voting Device for Tanay Market Vendors and Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative" was conducted to have a fast and reliable portable voting device. The researchers believe that with the aid of this device, the procedure in voting inside the cooperative will be cheaper and more time-efficient. This study was conducted at the University of Rizal System - Morong during the School Year 2018-2019. To determine the acceptability of the study in terms of Reliability, Security, Maintainability, Portability, and Functionality of the system, the researchers selected 35 URS-Morong students and 5 experts who were the respondents on the study for they will be the beneficiaries of the device. The objective of the study is to develop a portable touch voting device with the use of a fingerprint scanner, Raspberry Pi, and a touchscreen to help the cooperative with a better, faster, and more efficient way of collecting vote and tallying them. Based on the summaries of results of evaluation, it was concluded that the device is capable to perform its task well, the researchers were able to design and construct a voting system using Raspberry Pi for TMVCMC out of the locally available materials. The project also attains its functions based on the result of the evaluation made by the respondents on the project design; it shows that it is very much accepted with regards to efficiency, functionality, portability, and security. The researchers recommended to optimize the program to further make collecting votes faster and more accurate, stronger security, a better user interface, and an Experimental method of research for better results. Lastly, the researchers recommended the device to be designed with better choice of materials that will further protect the microcontroller.
