Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong. 2015 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study entitled the status of tea shops in selected towns and component city in Rizal was limited to find out the status of tea shops in selected towns and component city in Rizal during SY. 2014-2015. The researchers founded out the status of tea shops in terms of ambiance, price, service, facilities, location, security, advertisement and parking area. The research was conducted in selected towns and component city in Rizal with the use of questionnaire-checklist in gathering the needed data. The respondents were range from sixteen to twenty years old obtained the highest frequency of 20 with 57.1 percent, followed by 11-15 years old got a frequency of 10 with 28.6 percent in the second rank. The third rank was 21-25 years old got a frequency of 4 with 11.4 percent, 31-35 years old got a frequency of 1 with 2.9 percent got the fourth rank, in terms of sex, female obtained the highest frequency of 22 with 62.9 percent and male got the lowest with the frequency of 13 with 37.1 percent, in terms of civil status, single got the highest frequency of 34 with 97.1 percent and the lowest was the married with frequency of 1 with 2.9 percent, in terms of occupation, students got the highest frequency of 34 with 97.1 percent while the employed got the lowest frequency of 1 with 2.9 percent. The respondents described the status of the tea shops as very much satisfied with respect to ambiance, price, service, facilities, location, advertisement and parking area. The respondents described the security as much satisfied. This study concluded that the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, occupation, civil status and monthly income affect in determining the status of tea shops in selected towns and component city in Rizal. And the status of tea shops in selected town and component city in Rizal with respect to ambiance, price, service, facilities, location, security advertisement and parking area as much perceived by the respondents. Based on the conclusions, it was recommended that they should give more attention to the customer's safety, providing security guards, CCTV's and fire alarms, a tea shop should offer complete meals because most of their customers are students, improve their advertisements and provide a large parking area.
