Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Elementary Education University of Rizal System 2017 Summary: This study aimed to determine the level of interest of grade VI pupils in hekasi (heograpiya, kasasayan at sibika) in University of Rizal System Tanay, Campus School year 2016-2017. the descriptive method of research was used in this study using the questionnaire-checklist as instrument in gathering data. the respondents of the study were the grade VI pupils in University of Rizal System Tanay, Campus school year 2016-2017. frequency, percentage distribution, rank and mean were applied as statistical treatment to determine the level of interest of grade VI pupils in Hekasi. the salient findings of the study were as follows: the profile of respondents in terms of sex, boyh male and female respondents have the same frequency and percentage of 19 or 50 percent.. in terms of parent's educational attainment majority of respondents who got the grade of 80-84 with a frequency of 18 and 47.37 percent. when grouped according to profile with respect to learning content, teaching strategies, learning materials used and evaluation. an overall weighted mean of 3.89 for learning content, 3.77 for teaching strategies, 3.86 for learning material used and 3.71 for evaluation was noted, verbally interpreted as much interested. where in when grouped according to profile in terms of their sexes respondents are much interested in Hekasi with respect to the cited aspect. likewise in terms of their sibling position and parent educational attainment.
