Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electronics Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop the Electro-Pneumatic De-Soldering Pump. Specifically, this study attempted to design and construct a Developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump perform try out and revision. It determined the difference in terms of performance of the Existing De-Soldering Pump and the Developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump in terms of suction capability and speed, Usefulness, Safety and Maintenance and Design. It also determined the significant difference between the Existing De-soldering Pump and the developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump in term of the following parameter, suction capability and Speed. Based on the experimentation and evaluation of the completed project the findings of the study were summarized as follow in terms of designing and constructing. The developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump was constructed and developed out of locally available materials. The developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump was tested for operation where troubles were observed. Through try-out and revisions made, the project reached the functional output and attained the project objective in terms of evaluation and the acceptability of the project, as evaluated by the respondents of the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump, it achieved a verbal interpretation of "Very Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 4.67 respectively. Otherwise, the respondents got "Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 1.52 in Existing De-soldering Pump, block diagram, schematic diagram, picture presentation are shown on the following figures and being conducted to identify easily the stage of developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump, in terms of safety and maintenance of the project as evaluated by the respondents the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump, achieved a verbal interpretation of "Very Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 4.73 respectively. Otherwise, the respondents got "Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 1.31 in Existing De-Soldering Pump. In terms of Usefulness of the project as evaluated by the respondents, the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump, achieved a verbal interpretation of "Very Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 4.72 respectively. Otherwise, the respondents got "Not Acceptable" having a weighted mean of 1.25 in Existing De-soldering Pump. The following conclusions were based of the mentioned recapitulation of findings, and the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump was completed and constructed out of locally available materials. The difference between the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump and the Existing De-soldering as evaluated by the respondents in terms of Design, Safety and Maintenance, Usefulness was found to be significant. Based on the findings and conclusions, the recommendations were hereby offered. To be used in electronics experiment and activities use to de-solder lead content and also it can be used as vacuum cleaner for the objects. It is recommended that this output should be used as tools or equipment in the electrical and electronics assembly and servicing. Parallel study should be conducted to improve the study. In terms of Speed of the project evaluated by the researchers in the developed Electro-pneumatic De-soldering Pump got the overall weighted mean of 4.2 respectively, verbally interpreted as "Outstanding" while the Existing De-soldering Pump got an overall weighted mean of 8.2, verbally interpreted as "Very Satisfactory". In terms of Suction Capability of the project evaluated by the researchers the developed Electro-Pneumatic De-soldering Pump got the overall weighted mean of 1.4 as evaluated by the researchers, verbally interpreted as "Outstanding" while the Existing De-soldering Pump got an overall weighted mean of 2.2, verbally interpreted as "Very Satisfactory".
