The study aimed to determine the Cash Management of Fitness Gym Businesses in The First District of Rizal for Calendar Year 2015-2016 in terms of cash receipt and cash disbursement. The researchers used the descriptive research method to describe present status and cash management practices of fitness gym businesses. The data was gathered through questionnaire checklist from 26 fitness gym businesses and such data were computed, tallied, analyzed and interpreted using the frequency, percentage and rank distribution, weighted mean and One-Way (ANOVA). From the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that from the respondents' profile most of them belong to the age bracket 31-40, male, married, college level, and manager. From the business profile, most of the respondents forms of ownership is sole proprietorship, have been in business operation below 3 Years, have an initial capital of P100,001-200000 and derived their cash from their own saving. Based on the respondents' perception on cash management in terms of cash receipt the acquired weighted mean was 1.9103 and verbally interreted as "Often".In tems of cash disbursement the acquired mean was 2.2521 and verbally interpreted as "Often". Moreover, also showed that the respondents' perception in Cash management of fitness gym businesses based on their profile of respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, and position, had no significant diffrence. Based on the business profile in terms of forms of ownership, sources of capital it result that there was no significant difference. Based of age, Years of business operation and initial capital that there is a significant among their perception. Based on the foregoing summary of findings and conclusions, the researchers drawn their recommendation The management should maintain to records the daily cash receipt in order to know the cash inflow and cash outflow of the business. The management should improve their safekeeping of funds by depositing their money in a bank. The management must assign a certain person who will handle recording of business transaction and other person who will handle cash inflow and cash outflow. It would be disadvantage if there were only one person who handles both functions. Manipulation of data and cash could be possible. The owners or managers must invest their excess cash in other forms of investment that yield maximum interest in order to have an additional income. Future researchers are also recommended to support this study and determine some changes and improvement in managing cash.
