Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study was conducted to determine the acceptability of the enriched module in teaching selected topics in algebra. This was conducted during the academic year 2015-2016 at the University of Rizal System, Morong, Rizal. The subject of the study were ten (10) teachers of Mathematics and ten (10) IT experts. The study used the descriptive-developmental method of research utilizing validated modified questionnaire-checklist as the main tool in gathering data. As the enriched module in algebra was presented, the questionnaire-checklist was given to the respondents to evaluate it acceptability. Mean was used as the statistical tool to answer the problems in line with the study. The study found out that the enriched module in teaching selected topics in algebra as evaluated by the teachers of mathematics and IT experts with respect to content, graphics, usefulness and language and style used was 'very much accepted'. Based from the summary of findings, the study concluded that the enriched modal in teaching selected topics in algebra possessed the characteristics of a good instructional material considering the content, graphics, usefulness, and language and style used. Based from the conclusion drawn, it was recommended that the developed enriched module may be utilized in teaching algebra. It was also recommended to test its effectiveness and parallel study may be conducted with the use of other variables such as durability, objectives, format and styles and organizations.
