Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study determined the level of technological acceptance utilization and loneliness of elderly in selected barangays in Antipolo City during the school year 2015-2016. The study intended to know if the level of technological acceptance and utilization of elderly has a significant relationship to their extent of loneliness. The respondents of the study were 60 elderly in selected barangays in Antipolo City. The study used the descriptive research using questionnaire-checklist in collecting and gathering data. The mean was used to determine the level of technological acceptance, utilization and loneliness of elderly. Pearson r was also used to determine the significant relationship between the level of technological acceptance and utilization of elderly to their extent of loneliness. The researchers concluded that elderly accepted the use of technology to communicate with their social circles to ease their feelings of seclusion. However, the extent of their loneliness is often experienced. Therefore, there is significant relationship between the level of technological acceptance and utilization of elderly in terms of performance expectancy. Effort Expectancy. Attitude toward using Technology and Social Influence. On the other hand, there is no significant relationship on the extent of loneliness in terms of Self-Efficacy and Anxiety Based on the findings, the researchers recommended to IT experts and manufacturers to come up in user friendly interface design suited for older people. The family member must support the technology acceptance and use of elderly for them to be socially active and engage in their environment to fight loneliness and social exclusion. To address this social issue directly to each family member. Local Government Unit (LGU) and Non-Governmental Assistance to pursue basic technology literacy in senior citizens.
