Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Civil Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop Detachable Concrete Block Molder. Specifically, it attempted to design and construct a detachable concrete block molder, perform try-out and revision and evaluate the acceptability of the developed Concrete Block Molder in terms of design, durability, functionality and usefulness and safety and maintenance. Moreover, it investigated the significant difference between the evaluation made by the experts and end-users in terms of selected criteria. Also, it aimed to determine the performance of the device in terms of accuracy and productivity and developed an operating manual for this project. The following findings were hereby summarized. The developed Detachable Concrete Block Molder was constructed out of locally available materials and the design found out to be functional and effective. The device was tested wherein different troubles concerned on the operation were discovered. And through the try out and revisions, the project reached the functional output and attained the project objectives. On the acceptability of the developed detachable concrete block molder as perceived by the end-users and experts in terms of design, the detachable concrete block molder got a verbal interpretation of extremely satisfactory with a total average weighted mean of 4.36. in terms of durability, the device obtained the weighted mean of 4.36 and verbally interpreted as extremely durable. In terms of functionality and usefulness, the device attained the weighted mean the weighted mean of 4.68 and verbally interpreted as extremely satisfactory. In terms of safety and maintenance, the device achieved the weighted mean of 4.48 and verbally interpreted as extremely safe and easy with an total weighted mean of 4.48. On the significant difference the study found that, there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the experts and end-users in terms of design, durability, functionality and usefulness and safety and maintenance and verbally interpreted as not significant. On the level of performance in terms of accuracy, the Detachable Concrete Block Molder attained the total score of 3, and verbally interpreted as accurate. In terms of productivity the device obtained the score of 1.67 and verbally interpreted as slightly productive. As for the operating manual intended for the project, the operating manual was consisted of introduction, safety precaution, product parts, operation procedures and maintenance procedure found out to be useful to the users as their guide in using the device. Based from the summary of findings, it is concluded that, there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the experts and the end-users in terms of design, durability, functionality and usefulness and safety and maintenance. And based from the findings and conclusion, it is recommended that additional related studies should be included to improve the studies. Add more plates for mass production. And add more tamper for compression.
