Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the extent of interest in Technology and Livelihood Education of Grade 10 students. Seventy six (76) Grade 10 students from University of Rizal System Morong Laboratory School served as respondents of the study. Descriptive-survey method of research was employed in the study. The study utilized a researchers-made questionnaire-checklist. With the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered, the findings reveal that out of seventy six (76) respondents, most of them are female; most of their mother's and father's occupation are teachers and most of them belong to 20, 000 and above monthly family income. Furthermore, it was found out that out of twenty three (23) mini courses, the respondents are much interested in Commercial Cooking, ICT-Photo Editing, Bread and Pastry Production, Mechanical Drafting; Handicrafts; moderately interested in Agricultural Crop Production, Animal Production, Automotive Servicing, Carpentry, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Electronic Servicing, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Technical Drafting and CAD, ICT-Desktop Publishing, Computer Hardware Servicing, Beauty Care (Nail Care) Services, Care Giving, Dressmaking/Tailoring and Household Services; and less interested in Aquaculture, Horticulture, Food (Fish) Processing and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Servicing. Also, there is a significant difference on the extent of interest in Technology and Livelihood Education of Grade 10 students in terms of the different areas in Technology and Livelihood Education with respect to gender. It was concluded that Grade 10 students are moderately interested in studying mini courses in Technology and Livelihood Education and gender contributed to the extent of interest in Technology and Livelihood Education of Grade 10 Students. In the light of findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are hereby offered: Expose Grade 10 students in some mini courses in Technology and Livelihood Education such as Automotive Servicing, Carpentry, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Electronic Servicing, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Servicing, Technical Drafting and CAD, ICT-Desktop Publishing, Computer Hardware Servicing and Beauty Care (Nail Care) Services and conduct parallel study considering other variables.
