Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study is entitled "Financial Investment of Different Medium-Scale Enterprises in Taytay, Rizal Calendar Year 2015". Its main objective is to identify the financial managers or owner's perception on the financial investment and investment practices conducted in different medium scale enterprises in Taytay Rizal. The purpose of this study is to answer the researcher's curiosity why some medium scale enterprises stay longer in the business and others don't, what are the financial investment and investment practices being utilize by them that serves as strength in their business. And lastly, which of them will have possibility of providing good employment. The study was conducted at different medium scale enterprises in Taytay, Rizal. The researchers utilize 20 respondents that were identified using purposive sampling. The study used descriptive method of research to gather data. The researchers created questionnaire checklist as the main instrument to gather data as well as personal interview to support the information needed in the study. The study employed the frequency, percentage and rank distribution to determine the profile of the respondents. Mean was computed to know the respondents' perception on the Financial Investment in Different Medium - Scale in Taytay, Rizal. Furthermore, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was employed to determine the significant differences on respondents' perception on the investment practices of different medium scale enterprises in terms of investment allocation and time planning when group according to their profile. It was found out that majority of the respondents were in the position of financial managers with the age bracket 35-40 Years old, most of them were female, married and college level most of them had been in position below 5 Years With regards to business profile, majority of medium scale-enterprises were established as corporation operating for the period of 16-21 Years and majority of the medium-scale enterprises were are service business and the initial capital of Php20,000,000-36,250,000, majority of them have Php20,000,00-37,500,000, when it comes to present capital. The Study found out that different Medium- Scale Enterprises always practice the investment allocation and time planning. As revealed by the mean score of 4.75 and 4.99 respectively. They consider the immediate conversion of investment to cash. Moreover, they identify the security in taking investment and reduce allocated funds that deprive the investor compound earnings. The researchers rejected null hypothesis that there was no significant difference on the financial investment of medium scale enterprise in investment allocation and time planning when grouped according to profile. In addition, in terms of business profile; it was found out that there is a significant difference on the Time Planning with regards to the Capital of the business. This leads to the rejection of the null hypothesis that there is a significant difference on the financial investment of medium scale enterprises. However, Initial Capital, Present Capital, Number of Employees, Year of Existence, Business Organization, Types of Business and Forms of Investment was not significant. Based on the study, it recommended the following; In investment allocation, the financial managers of medium scale enterprises must focus on determining the excess cash inflow from operation before investing. In the absence of financial managers, the owners must know how to take over the decision-making in investment. It is advice to identify the degree of risks that medium scale is comfortable with before allocating the investment. The medium scale enterprises must provide training to the financial managers to have best performance and adequate knowledge. It is advice, that medium scale enterprises should invest in deposits to be use in the emergency expenses.
