Dissertation note: Feasibility Study BSBA-MM University of Rizal System, Binangonan Summary: This feasibility study entitled production of Banana Ice Cream made of banana and its peel in Angono, Rizal will be under the operation of FRAP Manufacturing and the product will be named as Banana Ice Cream. The study aims to determine the viability and profitability of the business. It will be in the form of sole proprietorship and is committed in producing nutritious and refreshing flavor of ice cream. The product will be distributed and supplied to different retail stores in Angono, Taytay and Binangonan Rizal. It will need a total capital of P 250,000.00. The initial capital will finance the registration and securing license, operation supplies, rent and improvement materials and production equipment and the raw materials that will use to process the product. The business will operate from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and the management will have minimum of 4 persons that includes (1) one manager, (2) two production workers and (1) one distribution/selling personnel. The target markets of the proposed product are the young age, adult who loves to eat nutritious desserts and retail stores. Banana Ice Cream will be introduced primarily in different operational retail stores that sells ice cream and for those who wants to enter and retail ice cream products in three municipalities. It will also be offered in School/university canteens and restaurants. A projected demand of 330 liters per week, 1,320 liters per month and 15, 840 liters per Year of Banana Ice Cream was computed based on the following study of the researchers and will be supported with sufficient supply to cater the demand of the product in the market. Using the analysis of the demand, supply and market share of the product the business project a daily sales of 23 liters, 46 pints and 253 oz of Banana Ice Cream with a total converted sales of P 7,612 per day, 38, 060 per month and 152, 240 per Year. The business expects a gradual increase of 2-4% in sales on the next 5 Years of operation and 2% return of investment in 1-2 Years of operation of the business, with all the data and analysis researchers conclude the viability and profitability of the study.
