Experimental Research Methodology
Thesis BS Biology University of Rizal System. Cardona 2017
The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of stain removing property of Averrhoa bilimbi (kamias) fruit extract soap with different levels of concentration. The researchers made use if the experimental design to determine the effectiveness of stain removing property of Kamias with different levels of concentration. The actual study made use of the following procedures: collection of Kamias, extraction process, soap formulation, setting the stain, testing of kamias soap to the stains To determine the effectiveness of stain removing property of Kamias soap, Kamias were tested in different stains (chocolate, mud, coffee, ketchup, soy sauce). This study was conducted to extract the essential oils which can be used in making an alternative stain remover namely: Averrhoa bilimbi (Kamias). The researcher recommended that the extract can be made as soap. The Avverrhoa Bilimbi contains oxalic acid which useful for removing stain. Stains are discolorations that can be clearly distinguish from the surface especially from cloth. This study aimed to show that the kamias fruit extract can be an effective stain remover.
