Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop Jungle Math Adventure. This was conducted at Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School Morong, Rizal during Academics Year 2017-2018. The researchers approached fifty (50) grade six (6) students, and five (5) Math teachers of Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School and five (5) Information Technology professors of College of Science, Morong Campus. The respondents were chosen to test the program. The system was designed and created using Game Maker-Studio and Game Maker Language (GML) as programming language and Adobe Photoshop CS3 for editing pictures. The researchers found out that the developed system was very much accepted in terms of accuracy, applicability, completeness, user-friendliness, workability, portability, modifiability and clarity. Based on the findings and conclusion, the researchers recommended that the developed program Jungle Math Adventure can be utilized for encouraging the students to learn and enjoy the subject while they're playing. It found as useful material for educational game in Mathematics subject. And also it can enhance the thinking skills and mental capability of Grade six (6) students. Follow up study should be conducted for the further enhancement of the program.
