Dissertation note: Thesis A.B. English University of Rizal System 2018 Summary: This study sought to determine the Impact of Emotive Language in the Film "Beauty and the Bestie" of Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Secondary Education English Majors of University of Rizal System Tanay. This research used the descriptive method to determine the impact of emotive language. The frequency and percentage distribution and rank was used in the interpretation of the gathered data. A total of 30 AB and 30 BSE students from the college of Science and Education were taken as respondents. The findings reveal that majority of the respondents belongs to 19 years old, females, fourth year level, AB English students with 5,000 below monthly family income. The impact of emotive language in the film beauty and the bestie based on positive and negative impact indicates very much impact. It is recommended that students may find time of knowing the impact of emotive language considering that they use language in daily communication, teachers may give attention on teaching different languages that may affect the students in learning. Activities may be given to enhance their skills in identifying Emotive Language, teacher may expose the students in various emotive languages and the English department is encouraged to offer film viewing as regular activity to improve the student's analytical, critical and creative thinking skills. Similar studies along this area using other variables and parameters may be conducted to strengthen the weak points of the study.
