Online resources: Dissertation note: UGTHESIS Bachelor of Science in Community Development University of Rizal System Rodriguez, Rizal Summary: This study aimed to assess the needs of the community particularly in terms of the livelihood appropriate to the residents of Barangay Payatas B, Quezon City. The four hundred (400) selected people were taken as respondents utilizing simple random sampling design. The study ought to answer the profile of the respondents in terms are female, married, 29-35 years old, they livelihood need as assessed by the respondents is to manage a business. Therefore, there is a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their perceived livelihood needs. In response to the study conducted and from the data gathered with due respect to the conclusions, the following recommendations were suggested. To the local government unit, they can plan and initiate projects that will help their constituent meet their basic needs especially to the age of 29-35 which is the most residents in Payatas B, they should prioritize giving a livelihood programs such as engaging in business as revealed in the study. To the Non-Government organization, there are programs that non-government organization to conduct a livelihood seminar about to manage business and give some trainings about business. The residents, There are programs that local government unit can provide for the community and active participation of the constituents needed in order to apply the livelihood trainings and uplift their economic status in life. To the researchers, will be able to determine how local government unit serving the people within their jurisdiction. To the future researchers, this study can be used as basis for the future study.
