Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the Effectiveness of Poultry Mate System in terms of accuracy in feeding time, drinking time and cleaning. This study was conducted mainly at the University of Rizal System Morong Campus during the school year 2015-2016 from the second semester of 2015 up to the first semester of 2016. Specifically, this study aimed to develop and construct a Poultry Mate System which automatically let the chicken feed and drink on time, cleans the food container, with proper ventilation for the chicken. This research utilized a score sheet determine the effectiveness in terms of accuracy in feeding time, drinking time and temperature and the study likewise, utilized questionnaire checklist to determine the acceptability in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, and safety and maintenance. The researchers used developmental, experimental and descriptive evaluate research design to evaluate the effectiveness of the device output. The researchers used a researcher-made score sheet as a tool for the evaluation of the system with regards to the effectiveness of the Poultry Mate System. The results were tallied, computed and analyzed. Based on the analysis of the gathered data, it is possible to develop a Poultry Mate System using locally available materials. Its effectiveness in terms of accuracy in feeding time was found out to be very much accurate. Furthermore, in terms of accuracy in drinking time, it was likewise evaluated as very much accurate. Moreover, effectiveness in terms of accuracy in temperature, resulted to a percentage difference of 0.45%, verbally interpreted as very much accurate. Its acceptability in terms of design got an average mean of 4.5, in terms of functionality 4.8, usefulness 4.5, and in terms of safety and maintenance the average mean is 4.76, all were verbally interpreted as very much acceptable. The study was done primarily to ease human's way of living. The development of the study would be a great help to the poultry industries In an easier way of feeding chicken. It is recommended that further study should be undertaken to enhance the design and assembly of circuits and components, and also increase the capability of the developed device.
