The study aimed to determine the extent of the 21st century teaching practices of teachers and the performance of Senior High School students in Oral Communication in selected public secondary schools in the upland area of Tanay, Rizal this school year 2018-2019. Specifically, the study attempted to describe the extent of the 21st century teaching practices of the teachers in terms content knowledge. it also determined the competency levels of the students in Oral Communication tasks with respects to communication. collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. Furthermore, this study probed if there is a significant difference on the extent of the 21st century teaching practices of teachers in the Upland areas as assessed by the three groups of respondents, and whether there is a significant relationship between the 21st century teaching practices of teachers and the performance of he students in Oral Communication.
