The study aimed to determine the competency level of the tertiary students of the College of Science and Education particularly the nineteen (19) AB English and thirty one (31) 1st year and twenty nine (29) 4th year BSE English students in using morphology. The researchers utilized the descriptive method of research to ascertain its purpose. The percentage and man score were used in the interpretation of the gathered data. The study disclosed that most of respondents belong to the age bracket of 18-21 above years old; majority are female; BSE English and are first and fourth year students. The respondents fairly performed in using morphology based on the evaluated area such as derivational and inflectional morphemes. The respondents performed satisfactory in using morphology when analyzed according to their age, sex, course, and year level. Based on the aforementioned findings, the study came up with the following recommendations: develop skills in using morphology that will be useful in studying word structures; students must spend more time reading dictionaries to increase their vocabulary and perform exercised on forming sentences using words consisting of suffixes and affixes; the teaching of morphology must be intensified from the introduction to linguistic subject to other linguistic subjects; future studies dealing with tests be given with supervision of the teachers to ensure the reliability of students' performance in answering the test; and another study may be conducted to verify the results of the study.
