Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Sciences) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study determined the effectiveness of Computer-Aided Activities of Selected Topics in Physics. It was undertaken at the University of Rizal System-Morong Campus during the Academic year of 2016-2017. The respondents of the study were the Grade 9 students of Pantay National High School. They were divided into two groups, the control and experimental group. The experimental group was exposed to the develop Computer-Aided Activities. The researchers used thirty (30) students from silver as control group and thirty (30) students from bronze as the experimental group. The study used the descriptive, developmental and experimental method of research, utilizing pre-test and post-test to determine the level of performance between control and experimental group. The study showed that there is significant difference on the level of performance of control and experimental group as revealed by the pre-test and post-test results. It was found that the developed Computer-Aided Activities of Selected Topics in Physics is very much effective. The study revealed the effectiveness of Computer-Aided Activities as instructional material in Physics particularly on the topics Motion, Energy, Heat, and Electricity as it increased the level of performance of the students. It is recommended that the developed Computer-Aided activities must be utilized as an instructional material in teaching Physics for Grade 9 students particularly in the topics motion energy, heat and electricity. Determine the acceptability. User manual maybe provided. And lastly, parallel studies may be conducted using other variables and different topics in Physics.
