Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong. 2017 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of implementation on risk reduction management in selected restaurants in Tanay, Rizal school year 2016-2017 in terms of their profile such as age, sex, educational attainment, position and monthly family income during the school year 2016-2017. The respondents of the study were 24 staffs and 6 managers in different restaurants in Tanay, Rizal like Kata Café, Kamalig, Tabing Lawa, Tanayan, Halamanan and Rambulls. A modified questionnaire checklist was used as the main instrument in gathering the needed data which was content validated by the experts. The data gathered were analyzed using frequency and percentage distribution in determining the profile of the respondents with respect to different aspects in terms of variables. The findings revealed that most of the respondents were female with ages, 21-30, others or non-graduate and the position were staffs and managers, and earnings P 15,000-P 20,000 monthly. Majority of the respondents are employed, holding permanent positions and acquired the type of knowledge of both practice and experience. Based on the responses in terms of food poisoning the highest frequency is 4.76 second rank is 4.56 frequency and the lowest frequency is 4.46. Major physical injury with the highest frequency of 4.66 second rank is 4.30 frequency and the lowest frequency of 3.8. natural calamities with the highest frequency is 4.46 and the lowest frequency is 4.06. crimes with the highest frequency is 4.60 second rank is 4.43 frequency and the lowest frequency is 3.76. fire with the highest frequency 4.50 second rank is 4.36 frequency and the lowest frequency 3.93. and lastly is terrorism with the highest frequency is 4.50 second rank is 4.46 frequency and the lowest frequency is 3.63. The managers of different restaurants in Tanay, Rizal should continue their regulation and monitoring of their establishments to assure safety from food poisoning, major physical injury, natural calamities, crimes, fire and terrorism.
