Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the waste management practices among the selected resorts in binangonan, rizal during the school year 2018-2019. The respondents of the study were the staff, manager and guests in the resort. The researchers used a set of questionnaire checklist which is distributed to ten (10) selected resorts. The questionnaire checklist was answered by the staff, manager and guests. The study utilized descriptive method of the research using the questionnaire checklist as the main tool in gathering data. The statistical methods were frequency, percentage and rank distribution to determine the profile of the respondents. To determine the sanitation and waste reduction practices, weighted mean was used. To determine the significant difference on the sanitation, safety and waste reduction practices by the respondents one way anova was used. On the extent of perception toward sanitation and waste reduction among the selected resorts with respect to recycling/reclamation of waste is very much implemented. The study tested the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the sanitation and waste reduction practices among the selected resorts in binangonan, rizal with respect to recycling/reclamation of waste and waste reduction, in terms of age, sex, civil status, monthly income and educational attainment.
