Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Psychology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The main objective of the study was to determine how obese people form and balance their subjective well-being and level of self-efficacy. The study was conducted in the University of Rizal System-Morong Campus. The respondents were the 6 obese people considered in class II obesity and class III obesity. The study utilized the descriptive qualitative research design using case study method. The researchers utilizing mix method using structured interview and self-efficacy scale of obese people. The structured interview questionnaire has been reviewed and validated by professional and license professors in Psychology. The result showed how obese people form subjective well-being with regards to the affect balance and their life satisfaction through their different experiences with their social interaction and as for themselves. It also showed that the level of self-efficacy of the obese people of their belief that they were capable or incapable in doing tasks. As for the general recommendation, Department of Health may intensify the health policies and training programs related to raising awareness and helping obese individuals engaging in a healthy lifestyle. The educational institutions may conduct activities and for a focused in cultivating the benefits and importance of health for every student especially to the obese individuals. Also for future researchers they may conduct an output based program for the obese individuals providing help and promotion of healthy lifestyle.
